I tow my boat with the SCT 91 tune and it runs great with no problems. I get slightly better mpg with the 87 tune but the performance isn't quite as good.

If you like the sct tune, you'd LOVE one from 5 star. I've run both and the part-throttle torque and response with the 5 star is night and day better.

I've got both Livernois and 5 star and I use 5 star for towing, hands down better tuner for towing. Actually it's night and day difference. Don't get me wrong Livernois is a great tune and I run it for everyday driving but I switch back to 5 star for towing.

I have had both 5star and liver. Now I love the liver tow tune better than 5star one. reason was gas mileage. Stock I averaged 18+ bought the 5star had nothing but problems and started averaging 14+. Called mike great guy but could not fix the problems. So I called Rick and now I love the liver tq it is awesome, fun to drive throttle response is sweet and my mileage average is 17+ now. So go with liver I use 91 and 93 tow.

^^^Let me make sure I understand this, you got 18+ while towing when stock? What were you towing?

Or was that 18+ all around driving, and then 14+ and 17+ respectively while mixed tow/drive with a tuner?
