Very true. I've said many times that fords biggest mistake on the eb was putting all the mpg displays on the dash.

I also think the mental affect during towing is exaggerated because most people don't tow for entire tanks and, thus, compare past trucks "mixed towing" tanks to eb's instantaneous towing mpg's.

And every trip has variables even when towing. I was doing a job north of me and the day I took my tool trailer up, I was getting 13 mpg. 2 weeks later bringing it home, 18 mpg. I stopped watching that stupid display once I realized EVERY trip is going to be different. I now just keep track of my tanks.
