I too am looking for a tune for everyday driving and towing (I have a 7x16 cargo trailer that weighs about 5000# and I pull it just about every weekend). I can't decide between 5* and Livernois. I have never heard a bad thing about either one so I'm sure I can't go wrong no matter what I choose but I still can't decide.

I have both tuners, and for everyday driving I run the Livernois 93v2, I get better fuel mileage with it than I do the 93 5*, plus it's just more fun, but when I go to the lake every weekend to fish, I always put on the 93 5* because it just pulls my 20' bass boat way better than the 93 Livernois tow tune does, the response with 5* is there more on the low end for towing, but you cannot get any better for performance than with Livernois 93v2, I highly recommend getting both if you've got the money. Well worth it

I will be purchasing a 5* for my 2013. SCT is one of the most popular tuning devices out there. With the Livernois tuner you are stuck running only there tunes which have great reviews. More and more tuner writers will become available and most will certainly be using the SCT device. Also the documented tow testing 5* did developing their tunes is what I like most. All their tunes are tow safe, no back and forth between performance and tow tunes. My .02
