Livernois Tuned 5.0L F150

Jeb I can't read anything you write anymore without feeling like my IQ drops 20 points. I know it's a 5.0 thread. I was making a comparison between other ford engines with more hp/tq and wanting someone to educate me as to how a stock 5.0 reaches the limiter faster with less power. And how tuning the 5.0 adds more power than tuning both the 6.2 and EB....trap speed of 105-107 proves that. Jeb you of all people should be wondering why your tuned truck can't crack 100 trap without a DA formula. Read the other posts, I'm far from alone on my stance.

I have said it before and I will say it again, these trucks are held back by the stock transmission tuning so even if the HP doesn't increase dramatically there can be fairly dramatic gains just because the transmission tuning. My 4wd screw with 3.55 will light up 2nd gear now(in 2wd) no problem. With the truck in question here I believe it can do a low 13s, if it can hook.

Why is it hard for people to understand that 4.10s and slicks dont add trap speed. I don't care if a 5.0 is faster than my truck. Tune the trans all you like to where it'll burn out through 2nd but I'm lost on how 327whp traps 107 in a 5k vehicle. Jeb I've had the livernois tune for almost a month now.

Joewee, I agree with the 5K lb issue, but Boss has done a lot of weight reduction and I believe he's close to 600 lbs lighter than my 5390 race weight along with the Mustang headers, tune, traction bars, tires, etc. So, at ATCO in cooler weather, it's very reasonable he would be about a second faster and about 6-8 mph than me with the 60' time he's cutting. Though, I believe he indicates he ran the 13.0x at 105 ... not 107. A 75 shot did put him at low 12's and the 150 jet did put him at mid 11's.
I think Boss5.0 ran what he indicates he ran ... not sure why it's so hard for some to believe. What are your thoughts?
BTW, does that Livernois eco tune feel as strong as what everyone says? I've seen a lot of their work and thye're top-notch at what they do ... and they do it all!

So what you're saying is the only thing making a stock 5.0 truck trap 94 is the rev limiter. That means an engine with less hp/tq is reaching the rev limiter faster than another engine with more hp/tq. I'm sure someone smarter than me will weigh in but reaching a speed in a given distance over a time shows power. I want someone to explain how the rev limiter is the only thing making the 5.0 trap slower than the Ecoboost or 6.2. Also, how are there some tuned Rcsb 5.0s trapping 98-99 and not 105? I'm not doubting, just would like some explaining.
