I've had mine installed for 1 day now and can barely notice a difference in power or shifting when I keep revs under 2k. Part throttle up to 4k is silky smooth and power gains are fairly noticeable. I pulled on the highway from a stop and smashed the pedal. The truck immediately dropped to first( stock would bog a bit and stay in a higher gear) and barked hard shifting into 2nd. I was at 70 very quickly and set the cruise. Mileage was up around 2mpg for the sane 10 mile stretch I have made a hundred times. So far I am very pleased with the tuner. Honestly I am more impressed with the customer I received whenever I had questions. I got immediate responses by email and phone. Thanks Rick and Livernois for doing what you do.

Question- you need the strategy code to make a tune for us, k, does the strategy code on the PCM change when ford updates it? Therefore the one written on the side of the actual PCM is different than the one attached to the file. All the talk on superchips has me wondering. If so, it will only go back to the file originally on the truck not one from 1945 like the superchips unit. Or is this all irrelevant because it actually saves your stock file?
