Every time I give it a bit of gas it spools up and I hear a clicking noise and it sounds bad. What do these things do for blow off valves? Or to release that pressure? Maybe that's it? It just has started recently and I'm a little worried.

Are you running an aftermarket filter/intake?

I can really hear what you are describing with the Roush intake on my truck. It drives me nuts! I am going to switch back to the stock housing to see if it changes, if not, I am taking it to the dealer. It also seems worse in colder weather.

i know this is an old post but did you ever figure it out, mine is doing the same thing lately it seems. excel 1/4 to 1/2 throttle "aggressively" and it chatters ?
