Light weight Rim/Tire combo
I was wondering with all the people leveling out and putting after market tires/rim combos if there are some quality lightweight rims to put larger tires on so that it doesn't effect mpg and speed as much.. maybe go with 18" or 17" rims

There are a good many choices to make here. If you are going to tow anything over 3000 lbs, or go rock-crawling regularly, you might not want to go extremely light.
There are quite a few forged wheels from 17-20 inch OD that are fairly light. 25-26 lbs for good 17"-18", and 4.5-5 lbs more for 20". Compare this to roughly 19 lbs for a very light SSR Competition wheel in 18x8.5 or 18x9.
You can even go to TireRack.com and sort through their offerings based on diameter and weight.
On tires, every pound is like two on the wheel, due to the weight location on the very outside diameter. Choose well here.
I hope this helps.

The stock 18" wheel is 29.5 lbs and some other specs:
Width - 7.5"
BS - 5.5"
44mm Offset
Bolt pattern - 6x135mm
275/65x18 - Goodyear
32.1" - diameter
11" - sectional width
8.2" - tread width
39Lbs - weight
That comes out to 68.5 so the chrome ones are prob more..
