Hey y'all!!!! My dealership just called. Defect in the block.They have the short block on order. Good thing I was persistent huh? 2011 xlt super crew 4x4. And nearly out of warranty 58,000 miles. Just bought it last week for 25 grand.other the than knock the truck is sweet and super clean. Maybe next week or whenever it's finished I can actually enjoy it!

My new 2014 with littke over 2,000 miles has knock , its on driver side during idle after warm up , dont be confused with passenger side noise that comes from resinator on the exshaust , it has small hole to let water out and makes a tick noise that goes with engine rpm some of the vids I have watched are clearly that and some you can hear the knock for sure

I'm the OP. Mine now has 16k miles on it and sounds exactly the same as it always has. I'm not too worried about it though. I'm gonna trade it in at 60k miles for a Transit van. I need more room because I work out of my truck. I thought the 157" would be enough, but it's not.

My build date is 12 /2014 somtime I dont know exactly because my trucks at the dealer , it sucks is all I can say they wont even give me a loaner car and going on day 3 , I want the truck I traded in back it was a f150 that I bought from same dealer new in 2004

Yep, wish I could get my old 03 F150 back that I traded in for this truck. Way more comfortable and no payment.. You live, you learn.
