Kooks makes product nothing short of perfection.
I rememember my F-body days when the guys would say "Why buy Kooks long tube headers for $1000 when I can buy Pacesetters for $350?"
The answers come when you go to install them and after 1 year when they have rust spots on the ceramic coating.

i dont know the quality of cats but i may go out on a limb and say they are probably higher quality cats.
Some of the higher quality race cats flow almost as good as no cats (200 cells and such) and you are only going to give up 3-5hp. I know over on Audizine the B8 S4 without cats only make about 3whp more than ones with them and that's a factory cat. Thats why Geoff said his DP wouldn't be as cheap as other vendors bc full race uses $$$ cats on catted downpipes.

Kooks has always been known for being very high quality. We use the same cats that they use. Which are 49 State State & Canada Legal 3in High Flow 200CEL catalytic converters. When it comes to cats all of us use pretty much the same cat. Everyone brands it differently.

Kooks green cats are only made for them they have a lifetime warranty.
So they be the same size and cel they are not the same cats.
I have the pm that you sent me telling you use magnaflow cats. Not putting down MAK pipe but not the same cats. Just sayin.

You told me you use magnaflow HF cat. Which are the metallic spun cats magnaflow makes. I called magnaflow and they told me 2 yr 25,000 mile warranty.

Kooks does not make their own cats, for the most part no one makes their own cats. There are only a select few companies that actually manufacture cats, and everyone buys from them and brands them and warranties them as they please.
Don't be fooled by marketing gimmicks.
