The stock eB resonator is 2.25"-2.5" ID, the Raptor exhaust is 3" ID all the way into the muffler. The other question about flow is irrelevant as this thread is about the Raptor exhaust and how good it sounds.

The stock EB exhaust also necks down to 2.5" where the flex pipe connects to the inlet on the muffler.

I wonder if this would work on mine...

2013 Fx4 Crew cab 6.5' bed (157") I think raptor is 145" so I may have to cut and weld in a section at the straight portion correct? My reasoning is MBRP offers the Raptor exhaust in black 3.5" and I wanted a black exhaust.

You can get tips black and better exhaust for cheaper. Anything can be made to fit but it will be extra money to have another piece wielding in place to make it longer then will have to paint that section of piping then hope the paint matches up. Just get flowmaster with a black tip and get some high temp flat black paint and paint it.

I also installed a Raptor exhaust on my E.B. The only thing I did different is installed Harley Davidson tips.

If you want the MBRP buy the stainless version and put on a black tip. I have the black version( on my 145" xlt) and the stainless version of the same exhaust( on my 157" fx4). In less than a year the supposed powder coat on the black system has mostly fallen off it... hell on the tips wherever water runs down it from the inner fender all the coating came right off it. Needless to say the black system is complete junk... and it's just mild steel pipe to boot....

The extension pipe from the resonator to the muffler is a foot longer on my 157" wheelbase truck versus the 145" kit.
