Default 2012 EcoBoost MAP Sensor: 2, 2.5 or 3Bar?

I was looking to get a new 3bar Map sensor, Ford p/n AA5Z-9F479-B for my 12 Eco, but before making the plunged wanted to do some research on it more, however I am now getting confused with this part.

Does anyone know what the factory bar is? I been reading that the 11-14 3.5L are a 2bar, or 2.5L, then others are saying they are a 3 Bar from the factory, so don't want to spend money on something that is already installed

2.5 from the factory. If you get the 3 bar you have to adjust the tune for it, just FYI. Otherwise it will tell the PCM it is making more boost than it actually is.

I'm curious, what is the advantage of a 3 Bar sensor over the stock sensor?

For when you want to exceed 22+ psi.

Basically for when you put aftermarket turbos on it. A couple people are studding the heads in preparation for making the mid 20 psi mark.

Then it really won't do much for the stock turbos, even if it's a tuned engine.
