Default Intake valve and top end cleaning

Tell me guys , I wonder if this eco can run good enough at idle and at higher REV with the air intake disconneted from the throttle body ?

If so why cant we use like in the good old days a top end cleaner in a spray can or just a mist of water from a spray bottle to clean our intake valve and inler port ?

Thanks for your input guys

Ok, so they must be really fragile if they cant endure a bit of steam or a bit of burnt solvent, anyway thanks for your input Timtoolman !

Ecoboost is a direct injection engine, no gas ever gets to intake valves and top end, sooo... yeah, the gas makes no difference...

Found this same problem years ago with dry injected LP and Natural gas motors. Question to ask is how well does my oil separator work ?

Looks like we need a "TUNER" to do an EGR (not sure if we have one on these) DELETE or Bypass the PCV altogether. Keep the **** out of the intake form the get go.

These same carbon deposits end up in our oil and could be the culprit that is possibly causing premature timing chain failures/stretching. Either way, little bits of carbon material in the top end can't be good.

Otherwise we might need to develop a cleaning procedure that works with the engine not firing...to protect the turbos from a severe rich running condition...
