Default intake tube replacement?

I would like to replace the intake between the air filter box and the throttle body on my 5.0L to make room for my GT engine cover. Can someone point me to where I can get parts to make one myself or buy a 'kit'. I would like to do this without the CAI for the time being. I have searched, maybe incorrectly, but all I come up with is info on CAI stuff.

Thanks,

Mike

Get a "intercooler" piping kit off ebay. Get one with some 90's and straight sections and some quality silicone couplers, make yourself an elbow.

I got my kit today. Any suggestions on what I can do with the 2 vacuum connections on the intake?

I wanted to do this with the 5.4 but it doesn't seem like I'm able to do it

They make rubber gromets you can use to seal around a barb fitting. They sell them at your local auto parts store. You will have to drill the correct size to ensure no air is leaking by.

So far today I tried O'Reilly and Auto Zone without any luck. I will try again tomorrow at NAPA, Pep Boys or Advanced.

Had to connect the vacuum house to the bib on my S&B intake today

For just drill a hole and caulk in the fitting

Yea, the bib on the intake made me think of plumbing parts...which led hitting up H Depot...bought brass part so it wouldn't collapse when I tighten the house clamp
(thinking with the big head)

Worked for me, literally did it at 6:00 tonight...did the surgery in the parking lot! Lmfao
