Moral of the story. Be careful what you bump into when tinkering. It can cost a couple hours of labor.

The orange wrench always means connection lost between pedal and throttle sensor in engine bay. This was the case on the 04-08 generation trucks as well. I had it happen once on my 05 and just pulled over, turned it off, let it sit a few minutes, and start back up. Problem was gone after that and never came back again.

Thankfully they got it fixed and figured out, but that's what the wrench light is for specifically.
