Are there other tuners for the ecoboost that can do this? I'm pretty sure their engineer told me it wasn't possible on the new trucks, but ill check.

Yes SCT tuners can do that, both preloaded and custom tunes. Can adjust shift firmness and also shift points by mph by 3 mph higher or lower

From the engineer.

We just set it to match the tune to keep the trans from slipping. Softer will slip and hurt the trans long term AMD firmer would be too harsh and damage it. It's firmer than stock for sure. Just balanced like we do with the diesels which have similar power gains.

What are guys gaining without the cats, much faster spool time? Can you just run an o2 sim in place of the sensor, or just put the sensors back in the y pipe? I have done both on previous turbo vehicles, I don't know if those solutions will work on the ecoboost though.

Some guys are seeing 20 to 30 horsepower gains and faster spool times. Also that boner-inducing spool sound gets way louder. As for o2 Sims, idk man I'm gonna have to look into it some more. Anyone with an offroad y-pipe feel free to chime in on this.
