I did mine today and its not loud at all, the way everyone was talking I thought it was going to be fairly loud. Yes you can hear it but hardly over the radio at a lower volume. I just pulled off the tube and capped the intake. I only unplugged the tube at the intake, maybe ill try completely removing the tube and leaving it exit right out the BOV to see if I can get it a little lighter.

You guys realize these motors are only running 10-15 psi at most times, it's not like your dumping 25-35 psi like a performance turbo gas engine or a modded out turbo diesel, there isn't that much psi being diverted, therefor less noise

This is true. The loudest I can get mine is not at WOT, but under a good acceleration and let off. Ford has these things tuned to actually bleed off boost at high RPMs. So the pressure release at WOT isn't really that loud.

I was driving next to my wife the other day while she was driving the Ecoboost, and was really suprised at how loud it really is. Way louder than when driving the truck, obviously.

It does get louder if you take the tube completely off, but it will never be as loud as an aftermarket setup. Definitely not near as loud as your Supra I see in your sig!

10-15 psi on an aftermarket blow off valve will produce a pretty damn loud noise, that's enough pressure. Its not the pressure that's an issue, its the BOV design IMO.

Yeah maybe ill have to have my brother drive my truck while im outside or something. Yeah I understand it will never be louder than the Supra, my ecoboost will never hit 38psi, the dyno run in the sig was only at 28psi. Motor is out of the car right now, building the motor with some Carillo H beam rods and CP pistons.. should be around 950rwhp this time around Here's a little OT pic to enjoy while you guys are at work!
