how often to change the oil in EB motor?

for me is showed I had some metal issues and that told me to change it sooner, once that stabilized I then knew a better interval of changes. If I can get more than 5k out of my synthetic I'm saving money. So in testing not guessing saved me money and most likely a few analysis will tell you for sure. to me that mattered and likely saved some $ on larger possible issues, cheap insurance at least to me.

You can change your oil for $25? Or is it really double that? 8qts Mobil 1 $50+, filter $5.....
If you find out you can safely extend that 5000 to 6000, it has paid for itself quickly. Having said that, I still have been too lazy to send a sample off, so given the documented issues with fuel dilution in the 3.5tt I do mine every 5000 miles with motocraft full syn until I eventually get it tested. Yes I'm likely leaving money on the table too!

Oil change every 4K w/ Motorcraft syn blend and filter
Tire rotation every 8K (every other oil change)
Air filter every 12K w/ Motorcraft stock filter (every third oil change)
Spark plugs will be every 24K w/ Motorcraft SP534 plugs at 0.030" (every other air filter change unless I'm having issues)
Keeping things simple for my simple brain.
Tire rotation every 8K (every other oil change)
Air filter every 12K w/ Motorcraft stock filter (every third oil change)

I blindly follow truck maintenance minder and change when down to 20%. Typically about 6500 mile intervals. Dealer does my oil changes because they are $20 plus fees so like $25 out the door, dealer is 3 miles away and no worries for warranty. So I get motor craft everything. In/out in 30 minutes. :-).
My minivan is easier to change oil and I do that myself since I save more $ and out if warranty...

I too go no more than 5k miles and run full synthetic oil.
I know a lot of these engines have oil level "growth" but dose anyone have oil consumption?
The past couple times I changed the oil I noticed the oil level lower then usual
