I have a 2013 fx4 ecoboost and I recently put on a MAK catless downpipe with my 3in diameter pipe running into a flowmaster 10 series. I like the sound until I go WOP. It's just a loud high pitch noise. What can I do to have a loud rumble? I know it's only a v6 but there has to be something.

Listen to countless videos on YouTube to get an idea of what exhaust you want. Then try and find a local truck with that exhaust or bite the bullet and order.

I say go to the junkyard and experiment with using a Nissan 350Z or Infiniti G35 stock muffler, those cars have a perfect growl, has to be something with the muffler.

I did a straight pipe with the careless downpipe and loved the rumble when half throttle but when I let it loose at the end of the gear it just sounds like azzz.
