Is that on the EB or the 5.0?

Anyone have the latest and greatest plug to use with a '12 Ecoboost with a SCT tune? I will be getting the MPT tunes in the near future but wanted to change out the plugs again. I just hit 100k on the ticker. truck runs like a champ. (ALL HIGHWAY MILES). Thanks Again.

Use the OEM SP-534's but gap them to .028 for the tune. There have been way to many aftermarket plugs fail on a tuned ecoboost to be able to trust them yet.

After trying almost every plug out there, we still use stock plugs gapped to .030 on our '12 F150 EB project truck.

Changed out the plugs today. New 534's gapped at .030 went in like a breeze. Looking over the ones I took out. Nice brownish color.. checked the gaps on the old ones found them average of .034. I gapped them at .028 when I put them in 50k ago. I will pull the new ones in 25k and changed them out.

Thanks again for all the replies.

Somewhere around 45,000 miles my truck spit out some misfire codes and stumbled some on acceleration. I took it in thinking I had engine issues but Ford told me it needed new plugs and for $500 + they would install them for me. I order the plugs and new boots for about $75 and did the install myself. Misfires went away and truck ran good again. I would say replace them every 40,000 miles or earlier if you start getting misfire codes before 40,000 miles.
