Ditto I too forget I am using it and then take off and do not realize it has not shifted until about 5,000 rpm. I wish it automatically shutoff after 5mph or something like that. Like cruise control.

i like playinng around in manual mode but there is two things that could be different.
1: faster, harder shifts in manual mode. push the button at 5000rpm and it will hit the limmiter before it shifts.
2: no button, make it a ratchet style like dodge trucks. much more fun feeling then pushing a button.

Are you guys familiar with "HOTAS"? It's Hands On Throttle And Stick, a principle evolved for the Fighter Pilot, just so almost everything he can control is under either hands. Less movement means less stress and less fatigue, plus you don't have to memorize your whole cockpit. Same principle here, less movement = less fatigue. If you would have to move a stick every single time, you probably bi-tc-h about having to move a stick to shift...! And you would stop using it. Ask a Chrysler 300 owner if he uses it at all?? I betcha he doesn't. Just sayin'...
