High mileage ecoboosts!!
Okay, self explanatory here. I'm looking to see how many high mileage 3.5tt EcoBoost's there are on here, and any words how you've gotten there other than regular service.
And go!
And before anyone asks, I tried looking for a thread that already had this, but my phone is slightly... challenged when it comes to looking through that many search results.

Every dealer I've tried trading at tells me my 2012 FX4 with 82,000 miles is "high mileage", haha!
I just had a drivers side turbo, and drivers side exhaust manifold put on 500 miles ago under an Extended Warranty, and that's been my only issue
Oil changes every 5,000 miles, and new SP-534 spark plugs every 40,000 miles. I run my truck hard, drive off road with it nearly every single day, and tow with it every other weekend. I'm very happy with it.
I will throw this out there, I will be ordering and installing a catch can on mine after my buddy that worked on my truck called me back into the shop to show me how oil coated everything in the intake was. It was crazy!

120,000 miles here. Bought my truck new around Thanksgiving of 2011. Other than the timing chain and the damn startup rattle I haven't had too many problems.
The 55 shutter seems to have gone away with a reprogram and only had the water ingestion issue once and that seems to have been solved as well. AC compressor clutch is squeeky, but I'll run it til the bearings fall out. Drivers side exhaust manifold seems to be warped, but it's not annoying enough to fix. Catch a wif of coolant some times which I assume to be leaking from the turbo. All pretty common and trivial problems for a high mileage vehicle.

115,000 miles
-Randomly cracked side mirror when it was only a few days old(should -have taken that as a hint haha)
-Condensation ingestion...3 TSB's performed
-Under Load Misfire- Solved with plugs
-Exploding rear window
-The bump stop, solved with the TSB where they regreased the drive shaft
-Rear slider switch burned out
-4 IWE's
-Vacuum check valve
-Vacuum Pump
-Timing Chain
-Rattle on cold start
-Blend door continuously tries to strip its gears out after having the battery disconnected, try turning HVAC up, down, off, disconnect battery, etc and it will do it all day long until it sits overnight. I only disconnect now at night no working on anything during the day otherwise I have to drive around listening to it
-Recently having a no crank issue that I assume is related to a code I got on Sunday P0705 transmission range sensor, which the tranny pan will have to be dropped to replace
-New fuel pump in the tank I installed
-Replaced all MAP sensors, coils, and plugs 10+ times
-Drivers side seat heater no longer works
To me, high mileage is 200k plus, and I was hoping to take the truck to around 250k. But not sure at this point. To me vehicles should have pretty minimal issues til they get over 150k and I've had way more than I would have expected.

There's another thread in the 2009-2014 section asking this question. I have just under 90,000 on my 2011 and have only changed the oil and spark plugs. A friend of mine just traded his 2012 in with 230,000 on it and had never had a major mechanical issue.

Cant say that I am high milage with 52k on the odo but it is a first model year and I have been running it hard with a 5 star performance tune and bolting down the highways in 100 degree Las Vegas heat everyday. So far the only issues I have had were misfires fixed with new SP-534 plugs and my rear window cable spindle jumped a track and ate itself up. Otherwise not to bad for a daily driver and occasional hauler for 5-7k lbs.

2012 Eco FX4
100k as of yesterday. Issues as:
Brake vacuum pump replaced 900$
Rear window leaking 650$
Changed the plugs once at 50k. 20$
Plus all the regular maint. intervals. I used the quicklane at the Dealer. All my miles are highway miles, I have yet to tow with the truck. I just ordered the SCT X4 with the MPT Tunes and will be getting the 100k maint. completed along with a new set of plugs.

My job just got a few new Expeditions with the Ecoboost in them, not high mileage yet but they gave had them around 6 months and they already have around 35,000 miles on them. I will report back as they typically keep them to upwards of 250-300,000 miles. All of these miles are driven hard and basically off-road.
