What years is that tsb for? When it would arc would you get a clicking/popping type of sound?

Models before 2013 are covered. Yes, the escaping spark can make a snapping noise. https://www.f150forum.com/f70/ecoboo...5/#post4260622

Thanks man, mine was built in August 2013.
I've been dealing with a very random clicking /popping sound from engine with smoke out the exhaust in sequence for a while now. When it dose happen it's on mid throttle excelleration, more so going up hills.
Plugs are all good. Was thinking maybe this could be related. Dealership can never duplicate it.

When my dealer had the truck on their scanner they noticed the missfire was jumping between cylinders. Your description sounds like a misfire.

That tsb you post is only for plugs and boots though, no? Thought you said it was something with wires

Do you mean the rubber boots on the bottom of the coil? There are no wires to replace on this engine.
