Default Hello ford will u ever fix the condensation problem on your truck!

A closed thread! Pissed off truck owners! No answers! Now in 2015 it's ecoboost only choice other than 5.0 I've gone thru one engine and waiting for a fix and now left with one choice and it isn't going to be another ecoburst! I love my truck it's time to buck up and fix your **** here!
Yours truly,disgusted ecoburst owner!

I hear ya. I am waiting for mine to go pop.

They are replacing engines under warranty and even those with very low miles - least amount I've seen is 5K(!!) - so they are aware of the issue(s). I want to think Ford is working on it.

I had an Ecoboost in my 2012. I wasn't happy with it and traded it in for a 2014 with the 3.7L. Very happy with Ford and the engine choices they offer

Did you try the condensation drain hole?

How about having the current tsb done?

I did this ^ except I went to a 5.0.

Absolutely 100% totally, fully and completely happy with my choice. Over 11,000kms on my 2013 and not a single issue. I had experienced the acceleration stumble on my '11 at around 7,500km and had no idea what it was until later, after 5 trips to the dealer for the issue. They had replaced the left turbo as well as the PCM. When the intercooler TSB's were released, I was still experiencing the shudder but I also lost a whole whack of power.

I'll be a loyal Ford customer until the day they stop offering a naturally aspirated engine.

Yup +1 for me. I have almost 47,000km on the 5.0L and the engine has been awesome.

Although to the OP, I haven't even seen a report about this issue on the 2014's, and very little on the 2013's. In Ford's mind, they've fixed the issue.

But if you're stuck with a 2011 or 2012 with the issue; you may have an uphill climb as there hasn't been any new TSB's posted for a while.

Ford might not ever change the condensation problem but I wonder if AFE's Intercooler will resolve the issue?
