Truck looks great!

Which Autospring kit is that? Is that the front and rear kit or just 2" front?

Our eb s hate the cold... U will lose mileage in cooler temps... Weird being cars usually run better in colder weather

you feel more power when it's ~40-50F outside BUT better MPG when it's 60-70F...

The Ecoboost doesn't hate cold temps or get poor mileage because of the motor. It does better than my 08 GM V8, and uses about the same fuel a around town as in summer IF you have everything up to temp.
The poor mileage reports from winter driving can be blamed on any combination of : idling, cold fluids, winter tires, snow resistance, fuel, 4x4 use, spinning, more traffic delays, extra weight in vehicle for winter supplies, drivetrain drag from stiff grease etc, frozen tires plus low psi after temp drop, etc, etc.
My Ecoboost is doing better than any truck I've been in for winter/summer equality here in northern Canada.

This man just pointed out the obvious... And the sad thing is that he taught me a lot... Lol... One of those obvious reasons right in front of our faces...

Ha ha! I guess that was a forum douche move picking on one little " my Ecoboost hates " statement. Defensive I guess....

These threads are funny sometimes. I was out for coffee with my brother tonight, and telling him how the gas mileage on the EB is not fantastic, just adequate. (This week--a bad week--I'm averaging between 14 & 15mpg in mixed driving.). He then said, "Do you realize how fantastic that really is?" His 2003 Silverado 2500 (6 liter) is getting between 10 & 11mpg, with a lot lighter payload than I carry. It all depends on your viewpoint I guess.

I believe the ecoboost tech page from ford states the goal of the ecoboost was to put out the power and torque of a 6.0l V8 while using 15% less fuel.

It's the auto spring 2in kit for the front I believe the rear is like a 1.5 but yes its the full kit.

I have also ordered the intake and am waiting on Mike at 5Startuning to get a program for me so hopefully that will all help out as well. I am also putting my bed cover on this weekend so I'm hoping that having that covered will help a bit as well.

You may be disappointed if you think adding more weight and performance mods are going to improve your MPGs.
