I have close to 13K with no problems. For me it was an easy decision to pick the 6.2L over the EB. I have a 2 mile commute to work everyday and pull an 8500lb toy hauler on the weekends. The EB is not going to return any better mileage for the driving I do. Plus I have the sound of a real man's truck!

Just kidding EB guys, don't take it personally!

How Rude! Nothing sounds better than a v8 with a large cam and flowmaster super 44's. My 76 Dodge Warlock with a 406 stroker magnum has dual 3" exhaust thundering out 500hp. Dang I like that sound. That said, my wife loves the heartthrob 4" on the our EB.

Ya, mine won't pass a gas station..

Love my truck, gets better mileage than my Lincoln pickup did too, so bonus.

I shouldve just a got raptor for as little as I drive. (About 500 a month) My new 5.0 does about as well as my 2010 5.4, not a significant inmprovement.

I wish Ford would offer the 6.2 in the fx4. maybe they are for 2012.

I have only ran the 91 performance tune so no change. I did get a 87 economy that I will run after this tank.

Thought I would throw this out here. Did my first distance interstate driving today. With a 91 performance tune and CAI I was pulling 17-18 MPG's. Pretty flat road going 75-80 the entire way.

I have about a 1/8 tank left and will put on the 87 economy tune and run a couple tanks through her and report back. It's amazing what Mike@5Star can do.

Unfortunately (fortunate for me) my daily commute is 2.8 miles so it is hard to gauge higher speed distance MPG's.

Dont waste your time with the economy tune... The economy wont improve much, if any, and the performance will suffer. I tried it, and after two tanks went back to the performance tune. One of the biggest improvements with the 5star tune is getting it to shift to 6th quicker when just around town driving. The 5star tune waits till about 45 to shift to 6th and stock it would shift about 38 to 40mph. If trying to save gas I will shift manually and get it to higher gears quicker. I've found some improvement around town by doing this. Kinda a PIA though so I dont do it often.
