Are you going to do them separately and then together to see if there's any difference?

No, gonna get the downpipe and catback done at same time. Taking a trip to SW to see their shop and operation while they do the install

If no exhaust is no faster than stock, then there is no reason an aftermarket exhaust would be faster than either one.

Technically, larger pipe will have less backpressure. However, if stock is negligible, then larger pipe or no pipe will not show a measurable difference.

And before anyone says you need backpressure or velocity to make power, you're simply wrong so don't bother.
Exactly mike. I know a larger pipe will flow more, but if its negligible then why spend the money.

I did my exhaust because I wanted it to sound different than stock. I say different because sound is subjective. I think it sounds good, others say it sounds like garbage. If you are doing exhaust strictly for performance then doing downpipes is prolly all you need.

That's what I'm after. This truck will never sound good in my opinion. But I can at least have my turbo whistle and performance without the goose fart exhaust note.

In all due resprect, 15 whp gain is not going to be that noticeable on the track, espeacially considering these trucks weigh 6000 pnds.

That is true. A 10whp gain with exhaust can be lost with a poor 60' in an et. You need before and after dynos on same day and conditions. SW was supposed to be doing that with 5star right?
