Had latest TSB Done
I own a 2013 Ecoboost Limited...It stumbled and stalled one day in Austin, Tx...check engine light came on...turned off and restarted no problems...ran fine for most of the time except for an occasional stumble here and there....fast forward 3 weeks to yesterday....took in for Oil change at 13.8K and told them about stumble and TSB...talked with mechanic and he told me that he will run diag and even if it doesn't show a code he will do TSB because I had identified the problem thats on the TSB...well they found no major codes but it did have misfire codes...which explains the stumbles....Time will tell if that fixed the problem...on the paperwork it said he took off the shield but the shield is still on there...might take off myself or take it back to have them take it off...what you guys think....

There are two shields, 3 possible locations
There should be a shield on the top of the intercooler that is shaped like a large L. It goes down the back maybe 2". Leave it.
Any other shields that are on the front should come off. The front shields could be on top or bottom, depending on when atsb was done.
How many miles you got on it?

I would also be very interested if that TSB has any affect on your MPG.
I have an '01 F250 Powerstroke and they had some TSBs issued for some problems with them early on. Some of which was (or included) a re-flash of the PCM. Most TSBs fixed the problem(s) they addressed, but some had a side effect resulting in noticeably lower MPGs and/or some loss of power.
I have a 13 SCREW and am considering getting that TSB done, but I'm getting really good mileage now and would hate to lose any of that. Only have had 1 small hesitation so far.
