I took mine up to 85 the other day and it seemed way to fast to me, I dont see any reason to drive that fast off the track.....ever.

I'm not in the habit of doing this. I agree no need to go this fast.
It was very early in the morning on a deserted Interstate. No traffic in either direction, I could see a long way. From a 70 (speed limit) roll it took only a couple seconds to reach the limiter. After letting off traveled 4 miles before I saw another vehicle.

We can't talk about this if you want to go faster on the street, but if you want to go faster at the track, you will need a tuner to disable the governor.

Is there a mph limit to what the stock drive shaft can handle? I had an 05 v6 mustang in high school and if you removed the speed limiter, there was a good chance you were going to explode the stock 2-piece drive shaft.

Don't know if there is a limit but I can say it has stayed together so far, it will gear out at a certain speed.

Ford usually sets the speed limiter at the speed rating of your factory tires.
