Speed limiter is set to 100. They program tire size for you (and mine is right on the mark with 33's). I'm completely happy with my Stage 3/5* warrantied tunes.
On the performance tunes all options are locked out, but on the p/t tune I can still change all the options. I even lowered my max rpm, lol. Although I did increase my speed limiter to 160mph. Not that I will ever need it lol

ok so i take it that the 5* is the way to go?....ill be racing this weekend and plan to tow my 13 mustang with the eco....want to see how it compares to the 13 5.0 i traded in....as for the tune choices i was planing on getting the 3 87 tunes they offer and the 93 Performance and 93 Tow tunes to complete the 5 total tunes....anyone know if its best to deal with 5* direct or go through S3 motorsports?

Weird, I'll have to look at that again. I'm almost certain everything but the 5 custom tunes are locked out on my SCT regardless of which tune is loaded.

I don't think it really matters. Tunes are 5*, warranties are through Stage 3. I think it's all a joint venture.

The options are endless with tunes, do your research and try to look past all the forum "hooplah" that you may run into.

Stick to SCT and/or Diablo(in terms of devices) as they have dealers that offer custom tuning if you ever need it. Diablo is new to the market, but are making their presence felt. They are picking up 90HP/90tq on their 93 octane tune out of the box. They also come with 4 other tunes including a towing tune/87 octane tune/91 Octane Tune/ and Mileage booster tune. All come included with the device.

That has to be done via a custom tune(Due to EPA regulations), but yes it can be done by a Diablosport CMR Dealer like us.
