Nope. Ford changed the pinion design for '11 and up 9.75.

What break in procedure do I need to follow when installing the gears? I should installing then on Tuesday, I ended up buying 3.73 gears and they are Genuine Ford OEM gears.

Are you having them installed at a dealership? If so, how much are they charging you? I got a quote from a local dealer for a gear swap and it just seems way too damn expensive.

Not at the dealership, at a performance and restoration shop. They do gears on all sorts of drag racing cars all the time. I was quoted $275-300 at most. How much did the dealership want?

Gears plus install was $1600. It was with 4.10s, but still more than it should have been.

The gears alone will be near double that quoted number if you have a 9.75 rear. Ford is the ONLY manufacturer for gears for the 2011+ 9.75 rear. The other bummer other than the outrageous price, 4.11 is the lowest gear made..... Hope the aftermarket steps up soon.

For 4.10s, yes that is true. For 3.73s, you can get them from tasca for $205. I just need to find somewhere to install that doesn't want almost a grand.

Here is what I got, I can't wait to see how big of a difference going from 3.31 to 3.73 gears and a JLP tune

Nothing like changing gears. I have always done my own using paint and checking the wear pattern. I put 4.56 in my 98 4 wd and it was a job! You should see a big diff going two sizes .
