Default FX4 vs. FX2

Lookin at bout the FX4 and Fx2. Gonna go with the 5.0 for sure but dont know which package I want. I have not need 4wd in over a year so that why im thinkin about the FX2 and savin some money. The only real difference I see (other than 2wd) is the gearing. FX4 comes with 3.73 and the FX2 comes with 3.31. How they both of them compare gas milage wise and towing power wise? Any input is good.

2WD should be fine in Georgia for anything except towing boats - then it just depends on how slippery the ramp is. Pay attention in the winter, but the traction control is extremely good on the 2011 models, I could see getting away with 2WD where 4WD was a must before.

For every sticky situation I have gotten myself into with a 2WD I have made it out by just throwing my floormats under the rears and flooring it. Works for 40% of all situations 60% of the time :P

The 4WD adding a $4,000 premium is a bit rough for someone who would rarely use it. If you live on a mountain top then its a no brainer.

you will get a tick or 2 better mpg with the fx2. If you don't need 4wd, then don't get it.
