Not anymore
sink17... You can't order them anymore. I had an order in for one for about 6 weeks and it was canceled a couple of weeks ago. I was told they can no longer make the Red Candy Metallic Color because it comes from Japan. I was also told there is a shortage of the Nav units also due to Japan. My dealer mentioned that Red Candy is unavailable for the rest of this model year. Not sure if the color will be replaced next year? I was also told that Navigation units were unavailable for the remainder of this year and for next year as well. Not sure if its true, but that is the reason Ford gave for canceling my order.
So if I wanted one, I had to pick from what was left. And in the combination, there are very few left. The closest one to me was about 900 miles away, so that is what I went with.

Just took another long trip - no hurry.
Speed was 64-65mpg (TOPS) and I consistently got 22.5 mpg.
Also, seems I get better mileage WITHOUT cruise control. I just let the truck slow a little when going over hills where the cruise will obviously try to keep the speed.
My thoughts

I am consistently seeing 2wd 5.0's get 20.0+ mpg on the highway, but I don't think I've read where the 4wd's are getting those numbers. Obviously 4wd will be slightly less fuel efficient, but I figured it would still get 20+mpg on the highway...

Remember even if your getting the same mileage as the EB w/ the 5.0 you still have more torque with the EB and you have it at a much lower RPM. So they may be close to the same mpg's but thats with the Eb suppling more torque and when your spending 40,000 what 750.

I was just showing my numbers.
My bud has an EB and it most certainly rocks.
From the famous words of Rodney King... "Can't we just all get along?"
5.0 L's are awesome and the EB's are awesome too. Oh yea, let's not forget the 6.2 L's too.

So I just bought a 2012 Fx4 Supercrew 5.0 with 3.73 gears. I am in Canada so what does this equate to for km's per tank on average you are getting with city and highway driving or whatever conditions you have.
Thanks in advance,
