I estimated i could get about 500 miles per tank. The mpg on it is pretty incredible too. If i were you i'd go for the 5.0 not the V6. In my opinion, its not a real truck unless it has a V8.
WHOOOO. Very Bold MY Friend.....Even though I am getting the 5.0L, I am still open-minded......

Tough guy, eh? Remember you're only driving a little half ton pick-up there son. In my opinion, "real trucks" have diesel engines!

And they are 6 cyl. As in Cat, Detroit and Cummins.

Ah yes. Fair enough. However, the most respected light duty (3/4 and 1 ton) truck engine is the Cummins diesel which is an inline six. I'm sure I'll get some feedback on this comment but, anyone who has any experience with this segment will most likely, some grudgingly, agree!

I hope you can get more than 500miles... 500miles/36gal=13.8mpg...
I get that with my 5.4 and 4.10s...

Real trucks don't come with tiny little 36 gallon tanks either - the smallest I've ever seen on the road was 100 gallons, and most have dual draw, dual return tanks (no stupid switches to flip) with 100 gallon or more capacities per tank (200 gallons + per truck)
And straight 6 engines. Never seen a 8 cylinder engine in a real truck.
