I am going to upgrade the CAC as well. I like the Wagner one because it's a direct replacement. My concern is that it is in the same location as stock (with a little extra behind the grill) and therefore I worry about potential condensation issues on days where there is a lot of spray from cars, etc.

Also, the inlet and outlet tubes are at the same angle as stock, so could that lead to pooling? Some members on here have said that when they disconnect those tubes on stock, water comes out. I know both endtanks are aluminum on the Wagner instead of plastic like the stock one, so does that make a difference with potential water build up?

Full-Race looks that it blocks the radiator, but Jon said that it isn't an issue.

Franchi, you have had good success with your Wagner. How is it in wet conditions? I think you mentioned you had one issue with the stock cooler and loss of power, but nothing so far on your new upgrade.

I had the stumble/fall on its face once on the stock cooler but hasn't happened with the Wagner cooler and I've had it on for little over two months now and been in all sorts of weather with it, including heavy rain repeatedly which is where the stumble occurred prior with the stocker cooler.

Thank you guys for all the great comments. I had also looked at the Wagner IC but my reason for going with Full Race is actually because it moves in up away from the ground. While there isn’t much mud to be found here in LV when i can find some i find myself worrying that because the stock IC is so low and faces down i may end up inadvertently submerging it in the mud. With it mounted just a little higher it gives me piece of mind that I am able to ford a little deeper with my Ford.

If I see any performance gains, it will simply be a bonus and not a “must have” when it comes to purchasing the unit. To me this is simply a starting point on upgrading something on the truck that I feel I can put into the truck by myself over the weekend. I really like the idea of having parts that even an average Joe like me can bolt up over a few hours on the weekend.

If there is really a lot of demand for numbers I would be more than happy to take it in for a dyno somewhere here but like I said it’s not my number one concern right now.

Also on a side not I just received an email from Eric at FR and he let me know this unit is only for pre-orders at this time. He is looking at about a month from now until they are available. By no means am I saying that is a bad thing, I’m just very impatient when it comes to doing things to this truck

any chance you post up the installation instructions once you receive it?
Also, I vote unpainted since you have the option
"Yup! that's an ecoboost"

I will absolutely be doing a write up with a bunch of pictures as with anything I put on this truck so that’s not a problem at all

I appreciate it man, could def use some advice, beers on me of course. I think Jean would be a good place to line up. All though, i think i already know the outcome.... not in my favor.

By the way been loving the 91v2 on the Livernois tuner man, thanks again.

Alls good. Remember though, I'm just a "troll" so beware! Give me a ring when you go to install it, I'm sure you still have my number.
