Default Fuel smell at idle

This just starting happening a few weeks ago when I pull up to a red light. Everything is stock except a tuner, air filter and new spark plugs 534 gapped at 028. I had a sct 3015 since sept and running SSI tunes and never had this problem. Just got the new X4 and I'm running the canned tunes when this started happening. I had shawn rewrite one of my tunes so far and I still can smell it at idle. Anybody have any ideas.

Are you getting it with the SCT tune? How about stock? If so, I'd have the dealer take a look. I get that with my 2003 Subaru, but only occasionally so I doubt it would happen at the dealer.

Not stock just with the tuner. Never ran the canned tunes until a few weeks ago. This is mainly when it happens. I have been getting really good gas mileage on them as well in the 18 ' s. Never had that before.

If the smell of gas occurred after changing your plugs, you have one that isn't seated completely. I had this issue with my 07 5.4 and all I did was pull the plugs and reinstall them. It may be something like a few grains of sand or other debris that is preventing one plug from being full seated.

At least this is what I have run into. Hope this helps.
