Theres way too many crazy people in this world to maintain 100% customer satisfaction. Trust me, I work for people inside their houses on a daily basis. You can strive for as good as possible...but will never hit 100%. You can do everything right to a "T" for one customer and they flip out, tell you you are a horrible company, spread that around and make you end up giving them a check cause you f'ed up so bad. Do the same exact thing for the next customer and they give you a rave review, call a bunch of people to tell them how great you are, and send you a christmas card with cash for some goodies for the kids. The service industry is one of the most frustrating and stressful industries to be in.

Not that this has anything to do with your issues but CA is crap gas and when I buy gas from a chain in the southwest that ships gas to AZ and CA such as Chevron, Shell etc I have pinging if I buy from local places such as circle K which buy from local distributors I do not...
Proven again and again by a local dyno shop that I've been dealing with for 20+ years.

My truck came home today, after 15 days in the shop. I'm not certain if the motor is fixed as the tech claims the noise came back after TSB 12-3-1 was completed. The dealership performed the decarbonizing and the tech indicated that there was no major carbon build up "inside normal build up for mileage on truck". So I'm left to drive the truck and see if the noise comes back, which i plan to do a lot of as I've been without her for so long! I'll keep you updated!

Good news for me then, I have no interest in buying a motorcycle, far too little sheet metal between me and the road!

Decarbonizing - Check!
TSB 12-3-1 - Check!
AC Belt changed - Check!
Use Quality Fuel- Check!
Noise Still there - CHECK!!!!

So.... I'm currently pursuing resolution through the Ford Customer Relationship Center. I've asked for the Motor to be replaced as I have no interest in a vehicle buyback (far too much time invested in this vehicle) and clearly the solutions put forth thus far are ineffective.
Just wanted to update the group.
p.s. The customer Relationship Center has been extremely responsive thus far, lets hope this holds up!
