Do the same exact thing for the next customer and they give you a rave review, call a bunch of people to tell them how great you are, and send you a christmas card with cash for some goodies for the kids. Trust me I know! Having worked in retail most of my life I understand the value of perception and the value of image. I realize you can't satisfy 100% of customers, but you said it perfectly "you can strive for as good as possible". It would be nice to know that my issue is not falling on deaf ears, and thats how I feel when it relates to addressing the issue with Ford. My dealership has been phenomenal but they can only do so much. There is a bigger issue here that needs addressing!

Proven again and again by a local dyno shop that I've been dealing with for 20+ years.
For the last year I have primarily purchased from Circle K, which in CA gets its gas from Unical 67. Still the issue has been there, which leads me to my initial point - this issue has nothing to do with the gas and everything to do with an internal motor issue (so to speak).

My truck came home today, after 15 days in the shop. I'm not certain if the motor is fixed as the tech claims the noise came back after TSB 12-3-1 was completed. The dealership performed the decarbonizing and the tech indicated that there was no major carbon build up "inside normal build up for mileage on truck". So I'm left to drive the truck and see if the noise comes back, which i plan to do a lot of as I've been without her for so long! I'll keep you updated!

You're worried about a noise. Never, ever, buy a motorcycle if you can't handle an intermittent noise.

CA has crappy gas. Sure it is clean, but it's octane rating is optimistic.

Good news for me then, I have no interest in buying a motorcycle, far too little sheet metal between me and the road!

Decarbonizing - Check!
TSB 12-3-1 - Check!
AC Belt changed - Check!
Use Quality Fuel- Check!

Noise Still there - CHECK!!!!

So.... I'm currently pursuing resolution through the Ford Customer Relationship Center. I've asked for the Motor to be replaced as I have no interest in a vehicle buyback (far too much time invested in this vehicle) and clearly the solutions put forth thus far are ineffective.

Just wanted to update the group.

p.s. The customer Relationship Center has been extremely responsive thus far, lets hope this holds up!
