Default Fluctuating RPMs

Does anyone else notice this? I have a 2013 F150 Ecoboost with just over 2,000 miles. Ever since I bought it I have noticed that while slowing down coming to a complete stop, my RPMs fluctuate. From about 1,000 - 1,200 and when it's below 15 mph. When I am completely stopped it idles around 600-700. Any idea what it could be? I am bringing it to the dealer in a couple weeks because I am getting a remote start installed but seeing if anyone else has had this problem and maybe I could fix it myself.

Mine fluctuates when its warming up. I asked the dealer and they said its totally normal. Is yours fully warmed up when it does it?

Yea. Probably takes me 20 min to get home from work. Doesn't matter is it's below 0 or 40 degress out. The engine doesn't surge or act different.

As you slow down the truck downshifts. When it does the rpms will go up. As you slow, they continue to go down until it shifts again.

Is this what you are talking about? Set the screen to view the gears and see if the fluctuation coincides with the downshift.

The rpms do go down as slow down but I don't understand why they go up. The problem could be me.

Have you ever driven a standard and down shifted coming to a stop and let the clutch out? This is the same effect only a lot more gentle.
