yes, the one year long tune from LMS surely grenaded a truck that was used hard.

PS: purely sarcastic remark, for the daft readers among us.

Just all the more reason to not run a LMS tune. That's three trucks I believe now that LMS destroyed and a LMS tune ate a friends spark plugs.

I'm leaning toward an injector failed/stuck open or just a high mileage failure. Thats about how long one of my TBI chevys lasted with a procharger on it. I hope I can get 100k miles out of mine.

Your sarcasm is pointless - as always.

I question the additional wear a tune puts on an engine and its effect on longevity - especially when the tune is more on the radical side.

It is in the back of my mind as I want my truck to last for a period of several years.

I am interested in knowing the root cause of this failure - if it is discovered and posted.
