My New 14 will be getting the oil changed this week with 1,300 miles on it. The Truck was made in May 2014, so you know that oil has never been changed.
I have always done my first oil change within the 1st 1,500 miles, no reason not to this time.

I've been wondering the same thing. I bought my truck 'new' but it was built in May so the oil has been sitting for quite some time. I'm at 3000 kms now.

Why would the oil in your truck be any worse off then the oil that has been sitting in the bottle made who know when?

There is some risk of oxidation. Oil bottles are generally sealed. Plus moisture contamination from humidity. Minimal, but not zero. I'd drive it a while anyway. But can't hurt to change if it makes them feel better.

I changed mine at 1400 miles and now run Mobil One in it. I also change the mould at 4k intervals.
