The ecoboost is a absolute BEAST with the MPT tune. I have the performance tune with the race tranny tune and really like it a lot. Another advantage is the cheap tunes and super quick truly custom tunes emailed to you in 3 business days. MPT is the real deal !

I got my tuner from them with 3 tunes. There is no 93 octane around here, so that one was a waste. I was impressed with the 87 octane which got me around 5 - 6 mpg more than stock. Then Ford put in the TSB to fix my CAC and their updated software did as well as the original MPT 87 economy tune. Of course the MPT tune wouldn't work then, because of the new strategy and after working for several months with MPT trying to get a tune that worked, they gave up and quit responding. I just ignored the tuner until SCT updated the tuner and SCT stock tune. It seems to be a slight improvement over the stock Ford tune, but not nearly as good as it could be if MPT actually worked on theirs a little. At one point I had a version that unlocked the torque converter when you let up on the gas, so the engine braking was less when coasting down for a corner or stop. That was a good thing that I miss.

I would really like to try a custom tune that improves the economy over the stock Ford tune, but the stock SCT tune doesn't offer much and MPT doesn't seem to be able to make one that works at all.

Silas,
Some of this post even contradicts itself.
- I was impressed with the 87 octane which got me around 5 - 6 mpg more than stock. (on MPT tune)
-MPT doesn't seem to be able to make one that works at all.
-after working for several months with MPT trying to get a tune that worked.
-if MPT actually worked on theirs a little.

Either way, you are welcome to email us for an updated tune.

My first impression of it is it's awesome. Got to get some miles on it to see. Major snowstorm on its way for Wednesday so I might go back to stock until after that.

The canned 87 makes a good snow tune and it is better than it used to be.

Haven't tried any of them lately did notice you can delete custom tunes now. All my slots were cluttered and I didn't really like over writing the old tunes.
