Sorry to hear. Can I ask why you took it back with it "noisey as hell"? I wouldnt havent taken it back until it was perfect....
I'll be willing to bet Ford will buy it back if you get your attorney involved.
Good luck!

It was nice and quite for the first couple of days then became noisey after the first 400 miles. Called the dealer and they said to bring it back...on the fence of what to do. All ford did was offer me the months payment I didnt have the truck or take a extended power train warranty which the truck all ready had that came with the year end rebates at no charge lol. Ford just doesnt make them like they use to......to many new engines at the same time and I also went against my rule of buying a first year model.....

I just know that the 5.0 in my 11 Mustang GT was powerfull and everybody wanted to see it and hear it. No issue's with mine at all after 13 months of service.
yeah, iirc, I read something about some early tuners ignoring knock sensors or something that they shouldn't have. I dont believe the more reputable tuners had issues in the mustang 5.0...

Why is it that when one or two motors blow..."Ford just doesn't build trucks like they used to..."

Really? Their initial quality rating are higher than they have ever been. Which is the reason that I decided to take a chance and buy an F150 in the first place (my first Ford). So, I hope they don't go back to making things the way they used to. My 2011 ecoboost FX4 has 25k miles and zero issues, and slightly better than EPA rated mileage on the highway.

Keep up the good work Ford.

Ahhh, that's just the nature of forums. Computer forums, car forums, gun forums...etc. All forums.

99% of the people who buy an F-150 will never post on a forum. Of the 1% that do post, most of those posts will be problem/question posts. It's just the nature of the beast. When things work perfect, people don't think about them for the most part, lol. Plus, which thread gets more attention? "My new truck is great!" or "OMG my new truck just blew up!!!" Human nature.

I hope the OP get's taken care of, that's a real shame. I'd cry if mine broke, lol.
