I posted one before on this but didn't get any response. Sorry for duplicating but does anyone have the Roush Air Filter for the F150 5.0? How is it? The 5.4 advertised 9hp and 30 ft lb of torque increase.

Okay so now I have the Roush Cold Air intake for my 5.0 and wow. I love it. Must say I was quiet jealous of the EB and kicked myself for not getting one. But my 2011 5.0 platinum screams now. Seriously what a difference.

really?? is it a cold air kit or just a filter upgrade? how much was it?

It's just a filter upgrade. I don't think it's neccessary to upgrade the stock tube as it's pretty big.

I bought the same filter for my 3.7. I honestly was not expecting any power gains from just an air filter. Seems ridiculous right? I bought it strictly for sound. It added noticable torque gains and sounds amazing.

Really, that is crazy! i want to hear from others first. does anyone else have one of these and what do you think about them?

I paid $404 installed at dealer. The warrantee is still intact since its Roush which is a ford product. And its really a huge throttle improvement. It's great but it's hard to keep your foot out of it. And the 5.0 sounds even better than it did before. And I'm running stock exhaust.

And yes it's a cold air intake kit. No just a filter.

What an improvement to the 5.0. Can't say it enough. Haha. It's like a new engine.
