Default Exhaust Sound

So I saw some videos of Nissan GTR's with exhaust systems on Youtube. They sound soooo good. So how do you go about getting the Ecoboost to sound like that? Engine swap?

A lot different in design. Cams would make ours sound a lot different though.

I honestly was playing with the idea of going to get a set of nissan 350z or infiniti g35 mufflers from the junkyard and having them welded on to see if the growling sound they make would actually happen. Never found out but I bet with the right set of mufflers, resonator, and cats you could get it pretty close

The guys at Stage 3 did a lot of testing for the Coyote motor -lots of video clips available.
For the EB I only found these: http://www.stage3motorsports.com/201...t-Systems.html

That's not the EB. That's the NA V6. There are a lot more options for the EB. I just installed the MBRP 4" SS single exit cat back (purchased from Stage 3 with an Airaid CAI and 5* tunes) and it is pretty friggin loud. I'll post an audio clip tomorrow when I get back in town. I still have the stock intake also. Almost wondering if a CAI will make it even louder. I listened to a lot of EB exhaust clips. A lot seem to have a raspy sound. The MBRP 4" is very deep. Sounds a lot like a diesel. I know you can never equal the sound of a V8 (loved the sound of my 6.0 Chevy with headers and a Gibson 4" single cat back), but I think this sounds pretty good for a V6 (particularly turboed). I just didn't think it would be quite this loud. At idle, it's got a nice little rumble. And, at 70-75 on the highway just cruising, it's pretty tame with minimal in cabin sound. However, when shifting through the gears, it'll scare women and little children. I do notice a little drone about 2250 - 2500 rpm, but it's tolerable. I also noticed an immediate increase in mpg on the highway (just based on the gauge) on my 60 mile trip back from where we installed it. I think the stock exhaust may be fairly restrictive based on the way it just seemed to run better and fuel mileage. Time will tell on the mpg as I drive it more. I'm just hoping it doesn't get considerably louder after it gets broken in which is pretty common for after market exhausts.

I just put a MBRP 3" exhuast on my eco, but not the eco kit, I put the 5.0 v8 kit because it has the resonator built in, it sounds wicked, nice rumble to it and zero drone at highway speeds, very impressed. Will have to get a sound clip made up.

I installed the corsa db and resonator delete. Sounds epic revving in the garage. Out on the road sounds like a wet elephant fart at anything above 2k rpm. Took it off. Not even close to G35, 350z, gtr sound.
