The evidence of a tuner left on the PCM

Now I don't have experience on the f150 computer finding tunes but I do have experience with the powerstroke computer.
On those computers it leaves a code in the computer when the computer was tuned. I forget right now what it was but I think I've mentioned it here before. Even when returned to stock the code is there until erased with a Bi-directional scanner(or at least that is what I needed to find it). I used a Snap-On ethos scanner. Removing the battery does not remove the code because of the KAM(Keep Alive Memory). Those computers have batteries in the so that when you replaced the engine battery it doesn't lose it's memory.
Maybe this will help someone. I should scan my truck and see what it shows if I can borrow that scanner again.

Keepin' the lights on!
On a side note, anyone have the part # for the new IC. I would like to see if that is what I'm getting. I do know the part # for the ordered IC is different than what is on my truck. There are also 2 deflectors on order as well. The invoice doesn't say anything about being a part of a TSB. I do think they re-flashed the ECM because the truck does drive different but there is no re-flash tag under the hood and nothing about it in the invoice.

You are right about that. I was asking a dealer in Albuquerque about the condensation issue. They had never heard of it. At least thats what they told me.
