There's a sticker in the pump that says nonblended gas and that it's for boats atv and off road vehicles. It's at the same pump as the 112 leaded gas. Off to the side

That is my understanding as well. Apparently etoh was the substitute for mtbe when it was phased out. Though the minimum percent etoh added I've never heard.

About the only place to get truly ethanol free gas around here is a lake marina, you will pay about a $1.00 premium over any land station. I don't even think its exactly 100% gas.

I am a little confused would 89 ethanol free be as good as 91 with ethanol also would 91 ethanol free be as good as 93 with ethanol. If ethanol lowers your octane rating then wouldn't it be so that ethanol free fuel would actually have a higher octane rating than fuel with ethanol?

Being in MN...personally I wouldn't waste the money on non ethanol in the Winter...especially this Winter. The cold and wind really sucks the mileage down no matter what you put in the tank. I did notice slightly better towing mpg in the Summer months with non ethanol. But this being the third Winter with my truck, I just run regular 91/92 octane.

When its -20 it just don't matter

I remember looking at dyno charts when the ethanol came back into the picture and if I remember correctly the straight 87 produced more hp and I think even 1/4mile times where about 1 second better. The 90 ethanol free I am using now makes the trk feel stronger, but with the 2011-13 5.0 with premium are around 10hp extra, dyno proven.

Ran a couple full tanks of E0 91 octane hand calc I got about .5 mpg better. Definitely not worth the price.
