Default ETA on Livernois Tuner?

Has anyone talked to Livernois lately about the EB tuner? They made the SHO run 12.8xs so Im sure they can make a big difference in power. The SHOs tune includes limited or no torque management, tranny shift points, INCREASED boost, maybe im forgetting some but thats basically it. Should really wake it up along with a CAI and exhaust. Cant wait to see what kind of power these EBs will make

Here is a short thread on SVTP about it. I asked if they had any updates on the progress and this was the reply..

"unfortunately no good ones. we haven't given up, but its being a little more difficult than anticipated."

I went into their shop about a mongh ago. They said they are working on it, but aren't releasing anything until they are 100% certain its done correctly. So i guess that doesn't really give you a time table, but you know you will get quality when they do realease it.

they can't release anything because they can't crack the encryption.

They sure did a number on the SHO, whoever owns a EB should be waiting anxiously for the tune, like you said it will be quality, 5 star reviews across the board on the SHO. I'm guessing a couple more months before they get everything done

You sure about that?

People keep posting information like this, but what is the source? And is it current?

Exactly. I couldn't tell you if they "cracked the encryption" or not. All I know is what I was told while talking to the guy at the shop. And that was, that they were working on it, and would not release anything until it was 100% up to their standards. Which I appreciate, and will wait impatiently for.

There could be legal issues.

We are talking about software here that has been encrypted.

In theory, it could be a violation of the DMCA to provide a product that breaks it.

True, how has it been done in the past though? I sure hope this a variable in the equation....

The key is the encryption. That's where it gets sticky.
