Good point. The vehicle I just sold was a Frontier with the 4.0 Liter V6, so I was quick to jot it down, not thinking that this comparison only pertains to full size trucks. Sorry about that!

no biggie, there's a reason I know what it came in, I had a frontier too...was a good truck, I just wanted something bigger.

Another comparison: from Consumer Reports on 2010 equivalent 4x4 crew cab trucks, avg combined fuel mileage during testing:
Chev Avalanche 5.3:14mpg
Sierra/Silverado5.3: 14mpg
Tundra 5.7: 15mpg
Ford F150 5.4: 14mpg
Ram 1500 5.7: 14mpg
Nissan Titan V8: 13mpg

I'd be curious the current age of the current iteration of each of those. I know the titan hasnt been redesigned since it's inception in '04. Its certainly dated and doesnt compare favorably in just about any category anymore.

I would like to see a new comparison using the 2011's and a side by side at the same time with 4x2 and 4x4 configurations.

Patience. CR will take most of the year testing and comparing vehicles. Might make it to print by end of year, or not.
