Default Ecoboost Whistle

Hello All,
I have had my 2013 Ecoboost since October and just in the last 2 weeks I have notice the turbo whistle is on more often than normal. It only happens during acceleration but it will stay whistling even once I get up to speed ( 60 - 65 mph ). To get it to stop I back off the gas and then slowly reapply. I am not one that is heavy footed so usually I never heard the turbos unless I was accelerating to merge or going to pass someone. If anyone has any input I would appreciate it.

Thanks
Neil

Wink love that twin turbo sound

I have 12 Eco Fx4 and that sound of the turbos spooling up and the acceleration is awesome in a pickup truck. I have alot of people tell me the sound is awesome when stopping at a redlight.

I really started noticing mime when the weather turned cold, I had only had my platy for about 2 months and really never noticed it for the first month or so.... It makes me smile. :-)

these are small turbos thats are constantly spooled and spinning well over 100,000rpm - at cold air temps they will spool faster and make more power/move more air. enjoy the sound!!
