Hi all. Been on the form for a while but haven't contributed yet. Would like to throw in a little info concerning this thred. I also have a 2011 eb with the same problem. Have tried two different tuners (EDGE PRODUCTS AND SCT) and both cause it to do the same flutter. With it back on stock its fine (mins the bad gas millage and lack of power that i also seem to be getting now). Was able to convince the dealer to also check the timing chain for stretch. Nothing was found. They checked and told me that it was perfect. No stretch at all. I hope this contributes a little bit. Hoping some one finds the answer to this problem.

Miles on your spark plugs and what is the gap? If they are original, that is part of your problem.
Never mind! I just realized I was in a different thread than I thought.

No worries its still a good question. Plugs are new NGK (New as of 6 months ago) and gaped at ".032"
If you have a question ask away. Want to find the answer to this persistent problem.

Usually only when the torque converter is Locked below 1500 rpm. However it will occasionally happen throughout normal driving , and Truck will accelerate normally under heavy throttle. I am currently running a MAK cat less off road y- pipe and it happens worse with the y pipe installed as opposed to the stock y-pipe. Ford is clue less . I also replaced the wastegate solenoid on that turbo as well with no change. Anyone have any ideas or experience with this ?
Defective wiring harness on the turbo control. I had the same problem and the issue was low voltage to that module. It's supposed to b 5V but was less than 2V. The dealer fixed the harness and I haven't had a problem since.

Edit

My home dealer never found the problem and I had in twice. No codes and they said they couldn't duplicate the issue. Mine threw a wrench light and set codes in the outside of Denver. Talk about pissed! The home dealer did a check before we left. One of the Ford dealers in Denver had it diagnosed and repaired in less than two hours.

Really. Awesome thanks for the tip. Im going to do that today. Never thought of that at all (and neither has the dealer). Thanks for also putting the Voltage. That really makes scene, if its getting not enough voltage it wont regulate the wast gates properly.

No real updates so far. I checked the voltage on what i thought was the turbo control and the wiring harness was reading 7v when turned on. Is there any way you could take a pic of the turbo controller so i can make sure im checking the right thing

I second that, anymore information or pictures would be extremely helpful. I've had this problem for 10,000 miles now . Dealers are still scratching there heads .

I had the same issue on my 2013 with 98k on it. Kilometers, not miles. With only 2k until the warranty was up I rushed it to the dealer. He told me it was a bad wastegate and the next day got the truck back with a new wastegate and turbo. Not sure if they are a unit but it fixed the problem.
