So I had a 6.2 superduty pull up next to me at a light tonight. I kinda know the guy through work. Anyways, light turns green and I was in-offensively able to pull infront of him by 80kph to move around a inferior dodge. I know its not an apples to apples race but cmon, I destroyed him. Mine is a screw 3.31 4x4 with the wife and kids and some tools loaded up. I just thought he'd have had more than that. Just makes me wanna put that "it's just a v6" sticker on the back window even more now. Haha

Yes it is "just a v-6". Nothing against it but don't pull up to a 6.2 f-150. Whatever ford says with their time sheets... If you do not with that gearing.

I drove a 6.2 before deciding on my truck, the 6.2 definetly sounded better but I'm not sure it felt too much faster. It is so deceiving because the ecoboost is so quiet and the 6.2 has a growl to it. The EB with 3.73's would have been pretty close on the butt-o-meter. With the EB having a taller 6th gear I do kinda regret not getting atleast the 3.55. Oh well, I'll hope my fuel economy keeps me from being too upset.

You are right about mpg for sure! I still drive my 03 cobra so have a very heavy foot but 9 mpg city... Don't really care otherwise I would have gotten a corolla!

I call b.s. was the other guy even racing you? There's no way an EB with 3.31 gears "Destroyed" a 6.2 with 3.73s...
